Collecting is free. AI is metered.

Adding cards, tracking value and building decks by hand cost nothing, forever. Trainer AI runs on real compute, so it runs on credits — and you can always see exactly where they went.

What the free plan won't let you do

Short list, and worth reading before you sign up rather than after.

  • Save more than 3 decks at a time
  • Share a deck, or open one someone shared with you
  • Get more credits each month — the free grant is one-time

Everything else keeps working when your credits run out: your collection, your decks and price tracking never stop.

What a credit is

Credits are what DeckAI runs on. Each request costs what it actually takes to run — the table below is what to expect — and every charge shows in your history. No mystery tokens, no surprise bill. Run out and nothing breaks: your collection and decks keep working.

Bulk scan2–4 credits
Deck build15–50 credits
Deck review5–15 credits
Coach reply1–3 credits
DeckAI chat3–5 credits
Grading report8–15 credits
Trade advice1–3 credits
Card image search1–5 credits

Charged by what each request actually costs to run — bigger collections make bigger deck builds. Every charge shows in your history.

Need more? Boost.

Big weekend, new set drop, someone dumped a shoebox on your table. Buy credits when you need them — they never expire while your plan is active.

Top-ups cost a little more per credit than a monthly plan — if you're buying them often, upgrading is the cheaper way round.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Nothing breaks. Your collection, decks, values and trades all keep working — only new AI requests pause until your monthly credits refill or you buy a boost.

Do unused credits roll over?

Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle. Boost credits you paid for don't expire while your plan is active.

Why credits instead of unlimited?

Because a deck build costs real money to run, and 'unlimited' plans either get throttled quietly or priced for the heaviest user. Metering keeps Pro at $9.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel any time from billing and you keep access to the end of the cycle you've paid for — there's no partial refund for the rest of it. Your monthly credits end with the plan; boost credits you bought stay on your account and keep working on the free plan. Payments are final, and deleting your account forfeits any credits left, including boosts.

Is this affiliated with Pokémon or Magic: The Gathering?

No. It's an independent fan-made tool, not affiliated with The Pokémon Company or Wizards of the Coast. Card data and prices come from public databases, and we don't sell cards.

Are prices and AI output guaranteed?

No — market values are best-effort estimates and AI suggestions are suggestions. Never treat either as an appraisal or a tournament ruling.
